The VL502 comes with our complete 'Masters' setup where our store's master luthier will optimise the instrument specifically for your needs. If you have preferences for action height, strings selection or even specific tonal characteristics, we will work with you to create your dream violin- do not underestimate the difference that a master setup makes! If you are not quite sure what action height or strings you like, we are happy to offer our own recommendations drawing on our many years of experience with these violins. The Master setup includes your own custom fitted bridge (made of the highest available grade of aged maple), a new set of pro-level strings, planing and polishing of the fingerboard, reaming of pegs and pegbox, and fine adjustments to the soundpost and nut.
