2012 Paul Sheridan Lattice Braced Classical Guitar

SKU: PS_196

Model No. 196

Following in the footsteps of lattice braced pioneer Greg Smallman, Paul Sheridan's guitars are characteristically sonorous - a rich and deep bass coupled with a glimmering upper register.

It has a Canadian spruce top and stripey ebony back and sides. Myall fiingerboard and plum headstock veneer. With a wafer thin top and dense back and sides, the instrument has a projection and sustain that would be difficult to match with any fan braced guitar. This instrument was commisioned in 2012 and Is in superb condition. There are a few small scuff marks in the french polish around the sound hole (from rasgueado etc.) but no major scratches, or marres in any part of the finish. The french polish is still immaculate.

Sheridan guitars have been described by Craig Ogden as having "a rich and lyrical sound" and were his instrunment of choice for an Australian concert when he was unable to bring his Smallman.

This guitar was built alongside Steph Jones' Beautiful 2012 Sheridan which is very similarly specced. You can see Steph playing her sheridan here:

Comes with black custom Presto Fiberglass flight case and insulated case cover.
