A big Congratulations to Rachel Belot taking out the Maton & First Prize in
the Solo Division of Acoustic Comp 2012. Well done to the other finalists,
there was some amazing talent shown yesterday and in the end it came down to
the wire. Rachel's amazing voice, soulful lyrics and some neat guitar playing
combined to get her over the line.
Little Foot took out the Mackie First Prize in the Group Section, just tipping out Fat Chance and Pat's Cut. The two ladies combined some spot on harmonies and beautiful lyrics to woo the judges.
We look forward to seeing more of what Rachel & Little Foot have to offer, they have bright music careers ahead of them. You can see Rachel & Little Foot perform live on Maroondah Festival Stage on Sunday November 11.
